1. Is the effectiveness of the devices consumed over time?

We warranty our Merus rings for a period of 12 months and after every service.

2. How many devices are needed?

For home use in small accomodation units normally one device, which is installed around the main water pipe (IN DEN USA SIND VIELE HÄUSER NICHT UNTERKELLERT), is sufficient. The MKR 500 devices have a capacity of 12 m3/day, which equals a peak comsumption of about 20 individuals. Especially designed devices are available for industrial applications. We have several installations with a delivery rate of more than 10.000 m3/hour.

3. How far does the impact of Merus reach in a pipe?

One ring per per equipment to be treated is recommended.

4. Is it necessary to install a second device for the hot water circuit?

No, it isn't. One device around the main pipe is sufficient in the majority of cases.

5. Up to which temperature does Merus work?

Very good experiences are existent for temperatures far beyond 150° C. However, the temperature on the outside of the pipe should not exceed 90°C.

6. What is the maximum capacity of Merus?

Aside from our standard size that go from 0.5" to 24" rings, custom designed devices are also available for industrial applications. We have several installations with a delivery rate of more than 10.000 m3/hour.

7. Is the water vitalized by Merus?

Our oscillations technology is for specific pollutants like bio-film, rust, lime scale etc, the water quality is not effected. This technology is target specific.

8. Are substances filtered out of the water?

No, they're not. Merus can only influence the substances dissolved in water. Particles contained in water are still in it when it has passed the Merus device. But these can mostly be removed using filters.

9. How does Merus affect YOUR health?

Only specify limit values for chemicals. Merus does not change the chemical composition of drinking water. Consequently, an assessment of the impact of Merus on health is not possible. However, Merus has received lots of very positive feedback from customers who above all mention an improved skin compatibility of the water.

10. Is the water changed via your technology?

No the water is not changed. It's physical properties are not changed either. The reason is simple, our technology is target specific. It's only targets molecules of rust, limescale, micro-biological problems like algae, biofilm and bacteria. Merus USA oscillations technology only uses water as a medium
